Upcoming ExoPC All In One Dual Core Touchscreen PC

ExoPC has made expand its product offer by bringing out two new all-in-one PCs running Microsoft's Windows 7. Set for a June release, the AiOs currently in the works at ExoPC have 18.5-inch and 23-inch touchscreens, the former model being powered by a dual-core Atom processor, while the latter is equipped with a more powerful chip, likely still coming from Intel. The June arrival would suggest a Computex launch but ExoPC may offer more info about the two PCs earlier than that.

Memory Hoarder: Recycle Old Memory Cards in a Flash

It seems that no matter how hard we try to keep our tech stuff neat and tidy, we always amass piles and piles of obsolete gadgets. Things like old phone chargers, unneeded discs – and memory cards. Scads of memory cards! This funky design would actually take all of those old microSD cards cluttering up your workspace and turn them into something much more useful: a USB flash drive which is more than the sum of its parts.

Designed by Fang-Chung Tsai, the Collector USB Flash Drive would have its own base amount of memory. Add up to three microSD cards and you have got yourself a decent amount of storage space for only the cost of the original flash drive. The Collector is sadly not in production at the moment, but if this baby ever becomes a real-life gadget there are throngs of geeks out there who would love a storage solution like this.

2 Watch Phones Hit the European Market

We thought we’d never see the day, but the watch phone has actually arrived. We’ll not beat around the bush: we think it’s a dumb idea. It may sound cool to be able to call someone from your wristwatch, but they’re big and bulky, while the touchscreen seems tiny enough to necessitate button-mashing. And who uses their phone just for talking these days? Never known for heeding our warnings, though, LG and Samsung both went ahead and unveiled watch phones over the summer.

LG’s GD910 is pretty much just what you’d expect from a watch phone: it’s big, it’s thick, it’s kind of uncomfortable. According to Engadget’s review, it functions just fine, other than having somewhat difficult-to-navigate menus. The big drawback for any watch phone is, of course, having to buy and use a Bluetooth headset because you don’t want the whole world listening to both sides of your conversation. And then there’s the issue of the price: over $800 US. That’s a lot of cash for what amounts to a flashy toy.

The Samsung 9110 is a little less bulky, a little less pricey (about $639 after conversion), but has a little less memory (40MB vs. LG’s 2GB). The scratch-resistant glass, stainless steel body and real leather wristband look nice, but still has the issues inherent with any phone you wear on your wrist. It also features a touch screen in that awkward size between “small enough to fit on a watch face” and “big enough that I can actually use it.” But if the watch phone happens to be your thing, you could do worse than the Samsung.

Nokia W7 and W8 will be Nokia’s next Windows Phone 7 Phones

Well, this is nothing but a rumor but According to Eldar Murtazin, the next Nokia high end phones with Windows Phone 7 will be the Nokia W7 and Nokia W8. We know nothing about the specs yet. (As its still a rumor)

Eldar also says that as per Microsoft’s requirements all the Nokia WP7 prototypes are built upon Qualcomm Chipset. According to him, the Nokia W7 is based on X7 hardware base and W8 is based on N8′s hardware base. (As you can see in the picture above)

A dozen of Windows Phone 7 powered Nokia devices will come in the start of 2012.

Look Around You: Unique 360-Degree Panoramic Camera

Panoramic cameras can produce some truly fascinating images, but how often are the cameras themselves made with a gorgeous design? The Lomography Spinner 360 is an awesome spinning camera that takes unique images in a variety of ways…and the camera itself is just as awesome as the pictures it produces.

The camera works with the simple pull of a string: the user pulls the string and lets it go, and the camera’s top portion spins around while exposing the 35mm film inside. By holding the camera in different ways or controlling the speed with which the string retracts, the user can completely customize the way the images will turn out.
